What Does The Program Do?
Performance Evaluation
The solution for achieving peak athletic performance lies in evaluating and enhancing the way each individual performs the crucial elements of the sport. We begin with a knowledge of the movements and common elements required for your sport. Your personal performance evaluation identifies areas of weakness, poor balance, poor flexibility and mobility, inefficiency and compensations which cause you to be less than your best and put you at risk of injury.
Customized Testing
We'll measure your strength, flexibility and joint mobility in the patterns necessary for normal, biomechanically correct movement. Developing normal patterns will help you avoid compensations, overuse, and tissue damage. Exercise isolated to a single joint can not address these common patterns of dysfunction, even if individual muscles achieve superior strength.
Corrective Phase
We'll work together to:
- Restore normal relationships between joints
- Balance muscle strength and flexibility on both sides of each joint
- Establish effective neuromuscular function (the ability of the nervous system to communicate with and control the muscles) to allow full use of all necessary muscles.
Enhancement Phase
Once the basic mobility, strength, flexibility and neuromuscular issues are improved or corrected, drills and exercises are developed which result in improved performance and prevention of injury. Developing these crucial assets will provide you the basis for continual improvement and the ability to function at your top level.
